Quench space
The pressure of the pumped fluid is higher than the pressure
of the quench medium during quenching. The gasket surfaces
are lubricated by the pumped fluid.
Application examples:
•
Pumped media that can crystallize in the atmosphere and
thus cause damage to the gasket in the long-term
•
Prevention of offensive odors
•
Cooling of gaskets
