The operator must make sure that the unit always
contains sufficient active substance to provide
constant protection for the domestic water sys-
tem.

1. Only original BWT Quantophos F and Cu2 ac-

tive substances should be used for metering.

2. Mixing different active substance types is not

permitted and could cause the unit to malfunc-
tion.

3. Metered additives may not be transferred from

one container to another.

4. Damaged additive containers must not be used.

5. The contents of opened additive containers must

be used within 6 months as specified in
DIN 19635.

6. Observe the use by date on active substance

the left and remove it from the bottom above
the suction pipe (8

3. Remove the aluminium seal from the new 3kg

mineral substance container.

4. Lift the active substance container from the

by turning it gently. The

message goes out,

and the audio signal is switched off.

substance container from twisting.

Connect the water flow. The metering unit is now
ready to use.

Prepare a new substance box or canister and
open the closure (remove the aluminium seal if
applicable). Unscrew the suction lance (9

the container and pull it out. Next, rinse the suc-
tion lance with clear drinking water. Insert the suc-
tion lance into the new container and tighten it.
The

message goes out, and the audio signal is

switched off. The metering unit is now ready to
use.

If the

indicator still appears in the display and

the audio signal is still being emitted even after
the container has been replaced, unplug the trans-
former plug and plug it back in after waiting a few
seconds.
