Removing and installing the lens
1. Center the lens.
a. Ensure the projector is on.
b. Ensure that the lens is at or near its center position.
Attempting to remove the lens when
at a large offset may cause damage to the lens assembly.
c. To center the lens, press the Lens Horizontal or Lens Vertical button and then press
Enter.
2. Turn the projector off and disconnect it from AC power.
3. Remove the lens.
a. Press lens release button and rotate the lens counterclockwise by a quarter to release the
lock.
b. Remove the lens.
4. Install the new lens.
a. Fully insert the lens assembly straight into the lens mount.
b. To lock the lens in place, rotate the lens cap clockwise.
Removing and
installing the fuse
1. Turn off the projector.
Warning! Failure to comply with the following could result in death or serious injury.
• Be careful not to dirty the glass of the lens module.
• Be careful not to touch the motor of the lens module.
• A Christie qualified technician is required to remove and install the lens.
Notice. Failure to comply with the following may result in property damage.
• A fuse must be installed in the projector for it to power on.
• For high rating region (200~240v), it should be using 10 amp fuse.
• For low rating region (100~120v), it should be using 20 amp fuse.
