1. Download the latest firmware program file from the Christie website.
2. Unzip the file to the desktop and open the folder created.
3. Execute Wizard OPFU.EXE
Upgrading the firmware
To complete the firmware upgrade process, complete the following steps.
1. Double-click the Christie Firmware Update Wizard.
2. Click Run as admin and Close firewall.
3. Click next.
4. Connect the projector to AC and power it on.
5. When the source message is displayed on the bottom left of the projected image, click Next.
6. Connect the projector to the computer with an RJ-45 cable.
a. Set the Default Gateway and Subnet Mask of the computer to match the projector.
b. Set the IP address of the computer to match the first three numbers of the projector.
For example, if the projector IP address is 192.168.000.100, then set computer IP
address to 192.168.000.xxx, where xxx is not 100.
c. Enter the projector's IP address.
d. Click Next.
7. Click Next.
8. Click the correct model name, then click next.
9. Choose the firmware version that you want to upgrade to, then click next.
The firmware upgrade procedure runs automatically and takes two hours to complete.
10. When the firmware upgrade is complete, verify the firmware version by entering the Service
mode and select Projector Info.
11. Click Exit.
Performing a firmware recovery
To preform a firmware recovery, complete the following steps.

important differences between models.

If the upgrade fails, select restore. The upgrade will resume based on your last selection of
firmware and display upgrade in progress.
