Section 2: Installation and Setup
2.2.12 Step 12 - Software Setup: Optimize Image Setup and Display
To optimize the projector settings to display the brightest and sharpest image possible, adjust each display
separately, then fine-tune the settings between all displays. See the projectors
User Manual
for detailed
instructions on adjusting the various settings.
1. Display an external signal.
2. From the
Lamp
menu, select a lamp operation mode:
Lamp 1
or
Lamp 2
. For the purpose of adjusting a
display wall, perform all software setups using this lamp mode.
NOTE:
For Entero projectors set the light mode.
3. Assign a unique identification number to each projector. This ID number enables communication to a
specific projector rather than broadcasting commands to all. For more information see the projector

4. Select the correct image orientation for the display by selecting
Image Orientation
from the
Configura-
tion
menu and select
Inverted Front
to display the image correctly on a rear screen display with mirrors.
5. Adjust the menu appearance on screen, by adjusting the options in
Menu Preferences.

6. From the
Communications
menu, enable the
Broadcast
key to relay commands from one projector to
others in the serial network.
7. Select
Auto Setup
, to allow the projector to optimize its settings for the current incoming signal.
8. From
Size and Position
, adjust
Pixel Phase
and
Pixel Tracking
to eliminate any noise from the displayed
image.
9. From
Size and Position
, adjust
H-Position
and
V-Position
to center the image on screen.
10. From
Size and Position
, adjust
Size
until the image is at the desired width and height. Adjust
H-Position
and
V-Position
again to center the image after adjusting these settings. Continue this step until the image is
centered on the screen.
