INTENDED USES FOR THE UNIT
The Panning machine has been designed and built to apply coatings to foodstuff products, such as
hazelnuts, almonds, pistachio nuts, pine nuts, coffee beans, small pieces of candied fruit and similar
products.
The unit’s technical specifications are reflected in a table contained in the “TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS”
chapter of this manual. The unit essentially consists of a fixed frame on which is mounted a rotating 7-
speed adjustable product processing drum. The Panning machine is fitted with a selector knob with which
the operating speed can be adjusted. The product to be coated is fed into the drum manually by the
operator. Using his hands, the operator helps to prevent the product clumping during manual loading of
the ingredients. The unit can also be fitted with an air duct (optional) used to keep the product cool
during the coating process.
The unit and all its accessories are designed and built to work safely, on condition that:
•
they are used within the applicable limitations;
•
the operators adhere to specified conditions, particularly those relating to:
–
overall production limits;
–
environmental conditions (dust, temperature and humidity levels in the work areas).
ATTEMPTING TO USE THIS UNIT TO ACHIEVE PRODUCTION LEVELS THAT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED MAXIMUM
PRODUCTION CAPACITY SHALL BE DEEMED TO CONSTITUTE "IMPROPER UTILISATION ".
