18. Open the seat unit and attach it to the lateral connectors on the
stroller (Fig.18) until you hear a click, then attach the backrest to
the frame by means of the plastic supports located on each side.
Fasten the plastic backrest supports to the two tubes (Fig. 18A)
being sure to position the protruding triangle of plastic in align-
ment with the point of attachment located immediately under
the handle connector (Fig. 18B-18C). Complete the connection
by rotating the locking lever onto the component itself until a
click is heard (18D).
WARNING:
Check the connection by pulling down on the fabric.
Should the plastic component move, repeat the steps described
above to achieve a proper connection.
19. Seat unit 2 is provided with its own specific hood. To attach
the hood, insert the plastic components located at the two
extremities into the connection points located on the tubes of
the stroller (Fig. 19-19A). Complete the connection by fastening
the two buttons on the rear of the backrest (19B). The hood can
be extended by opening the zip fastener (Fig. 19C). The hood
is slidable and can be set to two different positions by press-
ing down or pulling up on the hood itself. To remove the hood
from the stroller unfasten the two buttons that connect it to the
backrest and slide it off of the attachments on the lateral tubes
by pressing the pin located on the plastic component (Fig. 19D)
while also pulling up on the hood.
To complete the assembly of the seat unit, install the bumper bar
and comfort kit.
To disassemble the second seat unit repeat the same steps in re-
verse order.
20. The lining can be removed from the second seat unit. Remove
the seat unit from the frame and disconnect the bumper bar
(Fig. 20). Free the seat unit from the plastic base by passing the
fabric straps through the two openings (Fig. 20A) and free the
fabric from the connectors for the bumper bar (Fig. 20B). Com-
plete the operation by freeing the velcro on the rear of the seat
unit and sliding it off its base (Fig. 20C).
FOLDING AND UNFOLDING THE STROLLER WITH SEAT UNIT 2
21. The height of the hood can be set to two different positions.
To close the stroller move the hood into the lower position by
pushing down. Press the button on the right-hand side of the
seat unit while rotating the seat towards the backrest (Fig. 21-
21A). Move switch “A” on the handle either to the left or to the
right while also pressing on button “B” (Fig. 21B); push the handle
forward (Fig. 21C) and the stroller will fold by itself. The stroller
will automatically lock in the folded position (Fig. 21D). To un-
fold the stroller, as described in point 12, release the lever lock
found on the side of the stroller and have the front legs slide into
place while pulling the handle upwards at the same time until
the stroller is completely open. Push down on the seat unit to
open it (Fig. 21E)
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST ON SEAT UNIT 2
22. The backrest can be adjusted in 2 positions by opening/closing
the zip fasteners located on the two sides (Fig. 22).
CARRY HANDLE
23. The carry handle has two positions. To select the position move
switch “A” either to the left or to the right while also pressing on
button “B” (Fig. 23).
LEGREST
24. The two seat units share the same legrest, which is removable.
Assemble the legrest by inserting the plastic connectors in the
connection points located under the seat unit (Fig. 24-24A). To
remove it press the two plastic buttons and slide off (Fig. 24B).
The legrest has multiple positions: to position it towards the bottom
press the two lateral buttons (Fig. 24C) and push to the desired po-
sition. To raise the legrest simply pull upwards.
PARKING BRAKE
25. The parking brake acts on both stroller’s rear wheels at the same
time. To activate the brake press down on the lever (Fig. 25). To
disable raise the lever.
WARNING:
Always apply the brakes whenever the stroller is
stopped. Never leave the stroller on a sloped surface, with a child
inside, even with the parking brakes engaged.
WARNING:
After operating the brake lever, ensure that the brakes
are correctly engaged in both of the rear wheel units.
SWIVEL WHEELS
26. To use the front wheels in swivel mode, push up on the lever
located under the front wheels (Fig. 26). To lock it in place, push
down (Fig. 26A).
CARRY-ALL BASKET
The basket is already mounted on the frame. Should you choose to
remove it follow the steps described below.
27. Unfasten the two buttons and detach the velcro on the rear (Fig.
27); slide the fabric strap through the slot and through the metal
ring on the frame (Fig. 27A). Repeat the same operation on the
other side. Detach the 3 velcro segments that bind the basket
to the rear tube (Fig. 27B) and unfasten the 3 buttons on each
side (Fig. 27C-27D). Complete the operation by unfastening the
buttons located under the front footplate and pulling out the
straps (Fig. 27E).
RAIN COVER
The stroller is equipped with a rain cover that can be used with ei-
ther seat unit.
28. Using the rain cover with SEAT UNIT 1. Position the rain cover on
the hood closing the velcro segments behind the seat backrest
(Fig. 28) and finish fastening by using the elastic bands next to
the wheels (Fig. 28A). The rain cover is equipped with a zip fas-
tener so that the size can be increased/decreased to match the
height of the backrest.
29. Using the rain cover with SEAT UNIT 2. Position the rain cover
on the hood and close the velcro segments under the connec-
tors for the handle (Fig. 29); finish fastening by using the elastic
bands next to the wheels.
The rain cover can also be used with the Snuggle Pod (accessory
sold separately). For the user instructions see the dedicated manual.
When you have finished using the rain cover, allow it to dry properly
if it is wet.
The rain cover can be used both forward facing and parent facing.
WARNING:
The rain cover cannot be used on the stroller without
the hood being extended, as it may cause suffocation. When the
rain cover is fitted on the stroller, never leave it exposed to direct
sunlight with the child inside, as the temperature will rise consid-
erably.
