• By pressing the lamp on the fourth page (7), baby will listen to a sweet lullaby:

“Almost ready for sweet dreams,

as the lamp light softly gleams.

Sam and I shall read a book,

we’re so cosy, have a look!”

Other Book Activities

• The leaves of the tree are made of soft fabric (8) and stimulate baby to discover different materials.

• The frog (9) moves from right to left.

• The lake also has a mirror (10) for baby to play with and reflect its image.

• There is a small page (11) that baby can turn to see whether the puppy’s bowl is full or empty.

• The carrot is a mini roller (12).

How to Switch Off the Toy

The toy has an automatic stand-by function that activates after 1 minute of non-use. To reactivate the toy, simply press one of the

buttons of the book.

To avoid wasting battery power, it is recommended to always switch off the toy after use, moving the switch to the OFF position. Just

before switching off, the book will say: “Bye, Bye”.

FITTING AND/OR REPLACING BATTERIES

• Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.

•  To replace spent batteries: Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover, located on the upper part of the booklet hinge (see

diagram B), with a screwdriver and open the cover. Then remove the spent batteries and fit new ones, ensuring that they have been

fitted in the correct polarity (as shown on the product), close the battery cover, and tighten the screw.

• Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.

• Always remove spent batteries from the toy to avoid the danger of leakage from the battery damaging the product.

• Always remove the batteries if the toy will not be used for a long period of time.

• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct function of this product.

• Never mix new and old or different types of batteries.

•  Do not burn or dispose of spent batteries into the environment.  Dispose of them at an appropriate differentiated collection point.

• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.

• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, they might explode.

•  The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended, since they might impair the toy’s functionality.

•  If rechargeable batteries are used, remove them from the toy before recharging; this operation must be carried out only under adult

supervision.

This product is approved to EU 2002/96/EC Regulation.
