Lighting

Lighting features

Entry lighting

Welcome lighting

Interior lights are switched on for a

short time when unlocking the vehicle

with the remote control. This function

facilitates locating the vehicle when it

is dark.
The lighting switches off immediately

when the ignition is turned to the

accessory position.
Starting off

Entrance lighting

Some interior lights and switches will

additionally switch on when driver's

door is opened.

Exit lighting

The headlights illuminate the

surrounding area for an adjustable

time after leaving the vehicle.

Switching on

Activation, deactivation and duration

of lighting of this function can be

changed in the Infotainment menu.
Infotainment system

The exit lighting in the standard

setting remains activated

30 seconds after the driver's door has

been closed.

1. Switch off the ignition.
2. Remove the ignition key.
3. Open driver's door.
4. Pull the turn signal lever.
5. Close the driver's door.

The lighting is switched off

immediately if the turn signal lever is

pulled again.

Battery discharge

protection

Switching off electric lights

To prevent discharge of the battery

when the ignition is switched off,

some interior lights are switched off

automatically after some time.

If you turn off the ignition with the

exterior lights on, they will

automatically turn off after a few

minutes.
The exterior lights will turn on again if

you switch them on when the ignition

is off.
