Troubleshooting Guide
The device is not powering ON:
•
Make sure that you turned ON the power with your key and pressed the orange power
button on top of the digital display.
•
Ensure that the battery is fully charged (charger indicates a GREEN light).
The front wheel slips
– spins in place:
•
The front wheel is too far from your wheelchair. Adjust the Companion Unit so that the
front wheel is as close as possible to the footrest. The Power Unit should be almost
vertical when the Companion Plus is attached to your wheelchair.
•
When driving uphill, lean forward in your wheelchair to shift your center of gravity
forward.
•
Check the tire tread and replace it if it is too worn. Contact your local vendor or
Cheelcare for service.
•
Always start slow in Speed Mode 1.
