Slot (See below)
Remove one of the nylon stops from
the underside of the sliding beam,
using a no.3 Philips head
screwdriver.
Lower the retractable sliding beam
lock, by moving the lever down and
to the left, slide the beam onto the
guide rollers. Refit the nylon stop.
Note : The thin edge of the beam is
closest to the main table.
When the retractable lock is in its
raised position, it will engage with
the slot in the underside of sliding
carriage.
This will lock the beam in position
and stop it from sliding when not
required.

of the spindle.
