6a.4 FUEL BED: Press button FUEL BED to select 14 kinds of fuel bed effects
and OFF setting. If the fuel bed was turned off by pressing button LIGHTS
ON/OFF and the fuel bed was not at OFF, the fuel bed effect will be
memorized. Otherwise, if the fuel bed was at OFF, press button Fuel bed
to turn on the default setting.

NOTE: This is a thermostatic remote control. The remote should be in the
same room as the fireplace and placed on a flat surface. It senses the room
temperature, so it must not be placed in a position that allows the
appliance hot air to blow on it and affect the thermostatic reading.
The communication frequency between the appliance and remote has
already been set up. If you have difficulty with the remote communicating
with the appliance, please follow instructions Step 6b.36.
