A:
In the 3 places shown in fig. 11.1 drive the Rebar Ground Stakes 13” into the ground against (041) Wall Tie and
(111) Diagonals. Be careful not to hit the washer while hammering stakes into the ground as this could cause the
washer to break off.
B:
Attach ground stakes to (041) Wall Tie and (111) Diagonals using 1 (S7) #12 x 2” Pan Screw per ground stake
as shown in fig. 11.2 and 11.3.
C:
After driving stakes into the ground, check for sharp edges caused by the impact of the hammer. Smooth any
sharp edges from impact area and touch up with outdoor paint.
Step 11: Install Fort Ground Stakes
MOVE FORT TO FINAL LOCATION PRIOR TO STAKING
FINAL LOCATION MUST BE LEVEL GROUND
