12.1 Consumables changing frequency
For proper operation and long life of the softener set you should follow these
guidelines change consumables:
The existing resin into the resin tank must be replaced every 10 years life of the
equipment.
Salt for the regeneration of the resin must be reset as derived necessity of consumption,
so that the team never find without salt reservoir.
12.2 Cleaning
For proper operation and long life of the softener resins team is advised periodic
cleaning, the following guidelines:
Clean Filters (envelopes): This product performs an alkaline cleaning resin.

12.3 Extended stoppages
If the softener will be inoperative for a long time, it is recommended that the
following actions in order to preserve the equipment and its proper operation:

Disconnect the machine from the electrical outlet.

Cut off the water supply to the team, driving the external bypass is advised to mount
the installation (as recommended in paragraph 8.2).
When required again to operate the computer after a prolonged stoppage time:

Reopen the water supply equipment, operating the external bypass.
