When the dialogue Get Connected is shown, the following steps must be carried out so
that a connection can be established with the CC Pilot™ XS:
Ensure that the CC Pilot™ XS is connected via a null modem cable to a
PC.
Start the CC Pilot™ XS (if it is not already started)
Start the program
repllog on the CC Pilot™ XS. This is done via the Start
menu. Click on Run and type repllog in the window shown and then press
OK .
Now press Next in the Get Connected window on the PC. It is important
that not too long of time has passed after you pressed OK on the CC
Pilot™ XS in the previous step until you press Next in this stage. If
possible, it is recommended that that these buttons are pressed
simultaneously.
If the CC Pilot™ XS connects with the PC, there will appear a question on
the PC about establishing a partnership. Follow the directions on the
screen to establish a partnership.
To use the faster network connection, type
repllog /remote in the Run window and
chose Ethernet in ActiveSync on the PC.
Transfer of Files between the PC and CC Pilot™ XS
When a connection is established between the PC and the CC Pilot™ XS, files can
easily be transfer between them. Start the Explorer file browser on the PC and select
Mobile Device to access the file system on the CC Pilot™ XS.
