Replacing the Linkstep Set (2)

The procedures stated in this section should be performed by two
persons.
Also, prepare the following tools.
A. Metal Bar
2 pieces
(Dia: 7mm to 20mm, Length:
20cm or longer)
B. L Wrench
2 pieces
(Dia: 5mm to 12mm)
ASSEMBLE
1. Put the linkstep sideways as depicted, and insert it to the
frame. (Fig. 6)
When the linkstep is moved so that the link positions perpen-
dicular to the pedal, the entire shape becomes such as is de-
picted.
2. Using four cap bolts, fix the linkstep set to the frame. (Fig. 7)
3. Insert the chain joints to the linkstep set and the leading edge
of the pedal chain from right and left sides to connect them.

4. Fix the snaps to the chain joints by using a plier. (Fig. 8)
5. Lower the right and left pedals down to the lowest level, and
the other worker should remove the metal bar and L wrench
that have been used as stoppers.
6. Restore the pedals to the original positions.
7. Mount the frame cover.
