17.2 Causes and rectification of faults
In the event of a fault, an error code will appear in the display; it
describes the cause of the fault.
The following table assists in localizing and rectifying minor
faults.

Electronic control of
low voltage.

Electronic control of
excess voltage

Make sure the appliance
is connected to the
voltage indicated on the
rating label.

IGBT open or short
circuit.

Overheating
protection on power
mode (>150°C)

Eliminate the course of
overheating. Once the
cooktop has cooled, the
appliance can be put into
operation again.

Temperature sensor
open or short circuit

The temperature sensor
underneath the glass
ceramic plate is
defective. Please send
back to customer serivce.

Overheating
protection on TEMP.
