Snapshot Tutorial
This mode is suitable for use outdoors. It enhances the color saturation of scenery to
create an artistic effect. A make-up effect is applied to the face of the human subject.
The following image types are also available:
HDR,
Vivid,
Blurred
Background,
Elegant,
Foggy,
Fairy,
Nostalgic
1.
Align the mode dial with [
] (Make-up Art).

Press [SET], use [

] and [
2
] to select the
(Make-up Art) Control
Panel option, and then press [SET].
This displays a menu of Make-up Art scenes.
3.
Select the scene you want to use and then press [SET].
• If you selected
Blurred Background, go to step 4. If you selected any
other scene, go to step 5.

Select the blur effect level and then press [SET].
5.
Press the shutter button to shoot.
NOTE
• When using Make-up Art, wait until the camera is able to detect a face before
shooting.
• If the camera is unable to detect a face, a strong art effect may be applied to the
face as well as to the background.
• Sample images shown on Make-up Art scene screens were not shot with this
camera.
• An image shot with a Make-up Art scene cannot be converted to a normal (no
Make-up Art effect) image.
• Shooting with
HDR can cause monitor screen response to slow down and
may cause digital noise in the monitor screen image.
