Advanced Settings (REC MENU)
NOTE
• Only camera shake correction can be used during FHD and STD movie recording.
• Anti-shake Functions is not supported during High Speed Movie, HDR Art Movie
recording or Time Lapse.
• Images recorded with “Strong” selected for Anti-shake Functions may appear
somewhat coarser and slightly lower quality than normal.
• Image Stabilization may not be able to eliminate the effects of camera or subject
movement when movement is severe.
• Image Stabilization may not work properly when the camera is mounted on a
tripod. Turn off Anti-shake Functions.
• Even if “Strong” is selected for the Anti-shake Functions setting, some shooting
conditions may make it impossible to achieve the desired Anti Shake results.
• While shooting with some recording modes, the “Strong” setting will be dimmed on
the Anti-shake Functions menu. This means that “Strong” cannot be used with the
current recording mode.

Strong
While applying hand shake correction, shutter speed
faster than “Standard” also further reduces subject
blur. Also, ISO sensitivity may be raised from
“Standard”.
This setting can be used while the recording mode is
Program Auto (except for High Speed CS), Premium
Auto Pro or HS Anti Shake.
Standard
Dramatically reduces the effects of hand movement.
Off
None
Turns off Anti Shake settings.
