 Exercise Mode

6. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current exercise
mode (“BURNING”, “AEROBIC”, or
“MANUAL”) to flash on the display.

7. Press the 

MODE/SELECT

 button to

cycle through the available settings in
the sequence shown to the left.

If you select “BURNING” or
“AEROBIC” as the exercise mode, the
upper and lower pulse range limits will
be calculated and set automatically in
accordance with your personal
information.

If you select “MANUAL” as the
exercise mode, you can use the 

+

(increase) and 

 (decrease) buttons to

manually change the pulse range
upper limit and lower limit.

 Gender

16. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current gender setting
to flash on the display.

17. Press the 

+

 or 

 button to toggle the

gender setting between male (

MALE

)

and female (

FEMALE

).

 Energy Unit

18. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current energy unit
setting (“kcal” or “kJ”) to flash on the
display.

19. Press the 

+

 or 

 button to toggle the

energy unit between kilocalories (“kcal”)
and kilojoules (“kJ”).

 Finalizing

20. While the energy unit setting screen is

on the display, press the 

STOP/RESET/

ADJUST

 button.

This displays the 

SET

 screen.

The 

SET

 screen will also appear if

you hold down the 

STOP/RESET/

ADJUST

 button for about two

seconds, or if you do not perform any
operation for about two or three
minutes while any setting screen is on
the display.

21. To return to the stopwatch screen, hold

down the 

MODE/SELECT

 button for

about two seconds.

Holding down either button changes
the setting at high speed.

 Resting Pulse Rate

8. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current resting pulse
rate setting to flash on the display.

9. Use the 

+

 (increase) and 

 (decrease)

buttons to specify your resting pulse rate
within the range of 30 to 145 beats per
minute.

Holding down either button changes
the setting at high speed.

 Weight Unit

10. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current weight unit
setting to flash on the display.

11. Press the 

+

 or 

 button to toggle the

weight unit between kilograms (

) and

pounds ( ).

 Weight

12. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current weight setting
to flash on the display.

13. Use the 

+

 (increase) and 

 (decrease)

buttons to specify your weight within the
range of 40 to 150 kilograms, or 90 and
330 pounds (2-pound units).

Holding down either button changes
the setting at high speed.

 Age

14. Press the 

STOP/RESET/ADJUST

button.

This causes the current age setting to
flash on the display.

15. Use the 

+

 (increase) and 

 (decrease)

buttons to specify your age within the
range of 15 to 70 years old.

Holding down either button changes
the setting at high speed.
