Basic instructions - Snap-to-Connect (STC®) hydraulic connectors
WARNING
Escaping fluid!
Relieve all pressure before you disconnect fluid lines or perform work on the hydraulic system. Make
sure that all components are in good condition and that all connections are secure before you pres-
surize the system. DO NOT use your hand to check for leaks. Use a piece of cardboard or paper.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

NOTE:
Depending on the date of manufacture, your Tractor Loader Backhoes (TLB) hydraulic and steering systems
may have STC® connectors that attach to system components. Not all connectors in these systems will be STC®
connectors. STC® connectors do not require tightening or a torque specification but will require the use of a tool to
disconnect.
