Fitting and removing screwdriving bits using the bit
holder extension (Figs. 3 and 4)
- Fit the bit holder extension (9) into the bit holder (1)
and press until it holds firmly.
- Fit the screwdriving bit (10) into the the bit holder
extension (9) and press until it holds firmly.
- To remove the screwdriving bits (10) pull it out of
the bit holder extension (9).
- To remove the bit holder extension (9) pull it out of
the bit holder (1).
How to select the direction of the rotation (Fig 1)
- Do not change the direction of the rotation whilst
the tool motor is in operation.
- Press the top part of the on/off switch (2) to rotate
the bit in a clockwise direction
- Press the bottom part of the on/off switch (2) to
rotate the bit in anticlockwise direction.
Use:
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off switch
(2).
- Press the top part of the switch (2) to rotate the bit
in a clockwise direction
- Press the bottom part of the switch (2) to rotate the
bit in anticlockwise direction.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Stop the appliance by releasing the on/off switch. (2)
Cleaning
- Allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few
drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
- Do not let water or any other liquid get into the
air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the
appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other
liquid or place it under running water.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of
batteries into your domestic rubbish, place them in
Authorised collection places. They should never be
thrown onto a fire.
- At the end of the product’s useful life, and before
throwing it away in a container suitable for Electrical
Appliances and Electronics Waste, remove the
batteries and throw them away in the appropriate
container.

substances that could be considered harmful to the
environment.
