As an inverter, this unit can be used to power some of

the boat’s equipment that normally operates using AC

power. The inverter converts the boat’s 12 volt DC

power to AC power. Therefore, whenever your boat is

away from a source of AC shore power and the genera-

tor is not running, the inverter allows you to operate the

salon entertainment center, refrigerator/freezer, and the

optional bridge ice maker using the 12 volt "house"

battery bank.

NOTE: Using the inverter is this manner will eventually

discharge the "house" battery bank. Use the voltmeter to

monitor the voltage level within the “house” battery bank

whenever you operate equipment using the inverter.

Refer to the "Inverter/Charger" portion of Section 3

for more information on operating the inverter.

The optional Link 1000 battery monitoring system is

designed to help manage your "house" 12 volt power

levels. The monitoring system interface is mounted

above the Day Breaker Panel in the salon above the TV.

Refer to the OEM information for details on operating

the battery monitoring system.

Twelve volt (direct current) power is managed through-

out your boat using four 12 volt circuit breaker panels.

• Day Breaker Panel

• Main DC Subpanel

• Pilothouse Overhead Panel.

• Engine Room Safety Breaker Panel

The circuit breakers on these panels enable you to

control the electricity to the boat’s various 12 volt

systems by switching the breakers ON or OFF. They

also protect the electrical system by automatically

disconnecting the circuit from the power source in the

event of a short or overload. Power is supplied to these

four circuit breaker panels by the “house” battery bank.

Never reset a breaker that has been automatically
tripped without first correcting the problem. Failure to
