Air-Cooled Condenser Section

The air-cooled condenser section (

Figure 3.4

) consists of the condenser fan, condenser coil, receiver, liquid line

service valve, filter drier, fusible plug, economizer, economizer expansion valve, economizer solenoid valve (ESV),
and sight glass/moisture indicator.

The condenser fan pulls air through the bottom of the coil and discharges it horizontally through the con denser fan grille.
