Configuration

Management Access to the BROADway System

Ethernet Port Command Line Access

1. Connect your PC or workstation to one of the Ethernet ports (see

Cabling the Ethernet Port

page 2-9) and open a Telnet session to the IP address of the

BROAD

way system (e.g.

169.254.0.1).

2. You should be presented with the

LOGIN>

prompt. Use

CUSTOMER

for the user name and

BROADWAY

as the password.

3. If you are successfully logged in, you will be presented with the

NSP1>

NSP2>

prompt.

4. You can now configure the

BROAD

way system using the CLI interface. Follow the instructions

Logging In With the Command Line Interface (CLI)

on page 3-13 to learn how to log in and

out of the system using the CLI or in

Setting Up User Accounts

on page 3-13.

NOTE:

The

BROAD

way system supports up to three simultaneous Telnet client

sessions.

Ethernet Port Web Browser GUI Access

Connect your PC or workstation to one of the Ethernet ports on the

BROAD

way and then follow the

instructions found at

Logging In With the Web Browser Interface (GUI)

on page 3-9.
