The EXPANSION Port
The 25-way ‘D’-type EXPANSION connector allows four user defined functions,
USER 17
-20, which are set up in the SL 9000 J Macro Define menu, to be remotely
enabled. To use this facility, the remote switching device(s) must be wired to the
appropriate pins of a 25-way male ‘D’-type connector (not supplied), as shown in the
application diagram opposite. Connection of any of pins USER 17-20 to 0V will
enable that user defined function.
