6
The sides of the AHU/
duct are getting wet.
C1 Incorrect Installation
S1
Check that the system is installed as directed by
the custom installation drawings. Confirm that the
dimensions used to create the drawings are the actual
dimensions of the AHU.
The minimum clearance to the side of the AHU is 9”
from the last head. If the minimum clearance cannot
be maintained, you may have to turn off the outer
most heads in order to eliminate impingement of the
mist on the sides of the plenum.
C2 Obstructions
S2
Check for items that may cause turbulence in the
humidification section, i.e.: face by-pass dampers, air
blenders, leading elbows, etc.
7
Sputtering Heads
C1 Air in water lines
S1
Check for air in the water lines. Bleed the water lines at the
ends.
C2 O-Rings or seals worn, torn or
broken
S2
Check O-Rings and seals for tears or breaks.
Replace if needed.
C3 Air caps loose
S3
Check for loose air caps. A loose air cap can cause air to
bleed back into the water.
8
Individual heads drip
after shutdown.
C1 Modulating piston dirty or worn
S1
Check the seat of the modulating piston for dirt or wear.
Clean or replace.
C2 O-Rings or seals worn, torn or
broken
S2
Check O-Rings and seals for tears or breaks.
Replace if needed.
C3 Solenoid valves not operating
properly
S3
Clean or replace solenoid valve as required.
9
Water pressure rises and/
or is uncontrollable
C1 Loose air caps
S1
Check the atomizing heads for loose air caps. A loose air
cap can cause air to bleed into the water line and falsely
pressurize it.
C2 O-Rings or seals worn, torn or
broken
S2
Check O-Rings and seals for tears or breaks.
Replace if needed.
C3 Water regulator dirty
S3
Check the water regulator for dirt or debris on the seat. Clean
or replace if needed.
C4 Incoming water pressure varies
more than 20 psi
S4
Add an external regulator.
8
Controller does not
function: No Display
C1 Incorrect electrical voltage
S1
Check the primary voltage and confirm that you have 110
to 120VAC, at field wiring terminals 1 and 2. If not, check the
breaker that is supplying the cabinet.
C2 Incorrect Wiring
S2
Check that the remote on/off between terminals 3 & 4 (if
used) are closed. If by placing a jumper between terminals
3 and 4 (this “jumps” out the airflow proving switch) the
controller gets a display, check the switch for proper
functioning and wiring. It should be wired to close on air
flow
for system operation.
C3 Incorrect secondary voltage
S3
Check the secondary voltage and confirm that you have
24VAC leaving the transformer. If not, check the integral
breaker on the transformer.
C4 Power off
S4
Check that the on/off switch is in the on position.
