Uso previsto

Il BabyCO è previsto per la misurazione della quantità di monossido

di carbonio (CO) espirato. Il CO espirato viene misurato in parti per

milione e può essere usato per calcolare la percentuale di

carbossiemoglobina (%FCOHb) presente nel sangue fetale per

mezzo di un algoritmo.

Il BabyCO viene utilizzato nei centri antifumo, negli ambulatori di

medicina generale e nelle cliniche prenatali a scopo informativo

e per verificare i progressi del cliente.

Il BabyCO deve essere usato esclusivamente da medici
e operatori sanitari.
