Operation

5.1

Opening the canopy

The plastic nets attached to the ribs are intended to protect against transport damage. After the canopy is opened, they can be

removed carefully with a knife or scissors.

WARNING

Danger of injury to bystanders
People located within the opening radius of the canopy may be injured when the canopy is opened.

Before opening the canopy, ensure that there are no bystanders in the opening radius of the canopy.

When removing the plastic nets with scissors or a knife, be careful not to damage the fabric of the canopy.

If the parasol cannot be easily opened and closed, call our service hotline or correct the problem by applying the

steps described in section

The parasol is securely attached in the ground sleeve or mobile base.

1 Remove the strap from the canopy.

2 Pull the ribs outward slightly.

The ribs are loosened.
