6. Select a satellite with
AUToMATiC PoinTinG
Press the [ESC] button. The MMI will display:
Press the [ENtEr] button to confirm. the MMI will
display the list of preset satellites:
with the [▲] or [▼] buttons, move the cursor
to the
favourite satellite, e.g.:

[ENtEr] button to confirm the favourite satellite or
[ESC] button to return to the Main menu.
The system automatically will start the pointing
procedure. The time of the pointing procedure can
change depending on the vehicle’s geographic
position and the satellite’s position. the in-motion
system is confirmed by the intermittent BEEP and by
the blinking yellow LED. The MMI will display:
Once the satellite is pointed, the MMI will display:
then, after a small final pointing procedure, the MMI
will display:
and a BEEP will confirm the correct position.
After 5 seconds the system will automatically enter the
Stand-by mode, the BEEP will start once again and
the red LED will light up on the User interface module.
7. Choosing a satellite in
MAnUAl PoinTinG
Press the [ESC] button. The MMI will display.
with the [▲] or [▼] buttons, move the cursor

Press the [ENtEr] button to confirm. the MMI will

stands for the movement

stands for the position
With the [ENTER] button modify the movement from:
Elevation
lifting angle
Azimuth
rotation angle
and with the [▲] or [▼] buttons decrease or increase
the position.
Press the [ESC] button to return to the Main menu.
To make the antenna movement more accurate,
when the movement control in elevation is activated,
the motor works in two speeds. Hold the button until
the parabolic dish’s movement has occurred.
If the control of the position is lost, follow the
“Manual folding down” to fold down the antenna and
to reset all the manual modifications (please see
paragraph 3. Manual folding down).
