1. How to start
Please check all the connections and then supply
v12V DC to the system.
The MMI turns on, for some seconds, for a short time,
and performs a self-test procedure by verifying the
correct connection and communication among the
various components of the system. The MMI displays:
when xx indicates the Hardware, Firmware and Software
versions.
when the check is completed, the MMI turns off.
WARNING: In case of connection problems a
warning message will be displayed with an intermittent
beep. to fix the problem please refer to “Error
MESSAGES” section.
2. First Start
the first start is the first switching-on (power voltage
+12V DC supplied) of the complete system without
any previous pointed satellites.
Press and hold the [ON/OFF] button, until the beep
starts and the yellow led lights up.
Release the button. The green led will light up and the
MMI will display:
At the same time the antenna will start with the “zero-
setting” procedure and MMI will display:
After the “zero-setting” procedure the antenna will stop
in the zero reference position and the MMI will display:
Press the [ESC] button and select the favourite item in
the Menu list (e.g.:
Auto Pointing
).
