The C 500 Aktiv set operates on the master/slave principle� In this
case the master is the loudspeaker with the display on the front
and the amplifier electronics and a speakON
® terminal on the back
of the cabinet� The slave loudspeaker is the loudspeaker without an
integrated display on the front and with a speakON
® terminal on
the back of the cabinet� In your stereo set-up, the master is the left-
hand speaker and the slave the right-hand speaker�
Connection: Please ensure that all electrical components are
switched off before connecting� Use the speakON
® cable provided
to connect the two loudspeakers using the speakON ® terminals�
Plug the jack into the terminal and turn it clockwise until the
jack has locked in place� To remove the jack, push the locking
mechanism backwards and turn the jack counter-clockwise until it
can be removed from the terminal�
