Adjusting Basic Camera Functions

Power-Saving Adjustment

Adjust the timing of automatic camera and screen deactivation (Auto Power

Down and Display Off, respectively) as needed (

86).

Access the [Power Saving]

screen.

Choose [Power Saving], and then press

the <

> button.

Configure the settings.

After choosing an item, press the

> buttons to adjust it as needed.

•

To conserve battery power, you should normally choose [On] for

[Auto Power Down] and [1 min.] or less for [Display Off].

•

The [Display Off] setting is applied even if you set [Auto Power Down] to

[Off].

Metric/Non-Metric Display

Change the unit of measurement shown in the MF indicator (

182),

zoom bar (

96), and GPS information for elevation (

78) from m/

cm to ft/in as needed.

Choose [Units], and then choose [ft/in].
