(3)  Operation panel removal 

1)  Remove the panel cover. 

Using a flat-blade screwdriver, release the front side of the panel cover. 

While slightly lifting up the cover, pull it toward you.  

2)  Remove the panel unit. 

Remove the 6 screws that fix the panel unit to the scanner unit. Pull the panel unit toward you, then disconnect the 

connector and the ground wire (1 screw). 

3)  Remove the panel board. 

Remove the 14 screws and disconnect the connector. 

Caution:  DO NOT turn over the panel frame after the panel board is removed. The buttons are not fixed to the frame, thus 

they will fall if the frame is turned over.
