Changing a message
In previous versions, the message upon recovery from an interrupt made
during RDF copying mode reads: "Start with the first page original."
Since there is no need for starting with the first page original, the message
has been changed to read: "Press the Start key."

Changing the specifications
as to the limit in the
number of copies requested
Previous versions do not accept a number higher than the limit in the
number of copies that can be requested. (The limit is set using COPY_LIM
in service mode *5*.)
Version 7 accepts such an input, but displays an alarm message in response
to a press on the Copy key, prompting the user to enter an appropriate
number for the number of copies to request.

Changing the method of
counting two-sided copies
The method of counting two-sided copies for the Copy Data Controller-A1
has been changed so that the total copy count is the result of "one-sided
copy count+two-sided copy count

2."

Changing the sequence of
handling manually fed
sheets
Previous versions compute the length of the first sheet (manually fed free-
size paper), and uses the result to control the second and subsequent
copies.
Version 7 uses the same sequence used to control the first copy for the
second and subsequent copies to control copying operation.

Adding cleaning mode to
service mode
A new mode (wire cleaning mode) has been added as WIRE_CLN to
service mode *4*. In the mode, all corona wires are cleaned simultaneously
and five times in sequence (3 min).
