Reason

:

A circuit for removing electrical noise has been added to prevent erroneous indication of jam in the

duplexing unit for that cause.

Details         :

[Phenomenon]

Erroneous indication, “Remove jammed paper from the unit 

”, is displayed while no jam has

actually occurred.

[Cause]

Malfunction of the recycle motor due to electrical noise causes the above symptom.

[Factory measure]

1. A circuit to remove the noise has been added to the holding tray driver PCB.

2. Grounding wire has been added to the side cable.

3. Grounding wire has been added to the motor cable.

4. Grounding wire has been added to the connect cable.

Servicing        : Replace all the parts shown below simultaneously when the above symptom  occurs.
