Overview of Version Upgrade

1. Download via the user support tool (hereinafter referred to as “UST”)
The system software is downloaded from a PC connected with the machine by a USB cable.
2. Only LBP6680 (LBP3480 in the US), download via Contents Delivery System (hereinafter
referred to as “CDS”)
Download the system software directly to the machine from CDS via Internet.

Checking the Version

In order to check the model name and the version, it is necessary to output a status print.
1) Utility Menu > Configuration Page

2) Check the printed status. You can upgrade the machine when the downloaded UST is later
than the machine's version.

R1.20 means the version of BOOTABLE in the main controller.
