2.13 Disassembly of BARRIER COVER

(1) Extend the lens barrel.
(2) Drip alcohol into the gap between the FRONT CAP and the BARRIER COVER with the tweezers, remove the

BARRIER CAP TAPE, and remove the FRONT CAP.

Note: Be careful not to damage the FRONT CAP.

(3) Disengage four claws, and then detach the BARRIER COVER, BARRIER PLATE, BARRIER CLOSE SPRING and

BARREL DRIVE RING.
