Storing Addresses Searched via a Server

You can store an address that is obtained by searching the directory listings on the 
network using LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) servers.

NOTE

•

You may have to set up the LDAP servers beforehand, depending on the network 
environment.

•

Only names and e-mail addresses can be obtained from the LDAP server. (If the optional 
Super G3 Fax Board is installed, fax numbers also can be obtained.)

•

For details on server settings, see Chapter 4, “Selecting and Storing Settings,” in the 

Reference Guide
