Receiving documents manually: MANUAL
MODE __________________________________________

In MANUAL MODE, if you connect the handset or an optional extension phone to the fax, you can
receive voice calls as well as manually activate reception of documents. You can activate reception
from the fax or from the extension phone connected to the fax. This is called remote receiving.

• For this mode, you need to connect the handset, or an optional extension phone to your fax.

(see pp. 1-5, 1-6)

• Make sure the REMOTE RX setting is enabled. (see p. 9-5)

Setting MANUAL MODE (FAX-EB10 only)

Follow the procedures below to set the receive mode to MANUAL MODE.

Press [Receive Mode] to select MANUAL MODE.

Follow steps 1 to 4 on page 7-5.
