Types of documents you can scan _____________

Size
The fax can scan standard A4-, letter-, or legal-size documents.
■
Thickness
Each sheet of the document should be of the same thickness and between 0.06 mm and 0.13 mm
thick, with a paper weight between 50 g/m
2
and 90 g/m
2
.
■
Scanned area
The actual area scanned by the fax is shown below.
The margin on either side of the sheet and the margin on the top and bottom are not picked up by
the scanner.
Problem documents ___________________________
To prevent document jams in the ADF, do not attempt to load the following types of document into
the fax.
n
• Remove all staples, paper clips, etc. before loading the document into the ADF.
• Make sure any glue, ink or correction fluid on the paper is completely dry before loading the
document into the ADF.
• Make a photocopy of any document that will not feed into the fax so that you can then load the copy
into the ADF.
