Troubleshooting

Printer Does Not Start or Stops Mid-Job

Check 4

YOU

USING

THE

CORRECT

PRINTER

DRIVER

A print job may not start if you have selected the wrong printer driver for the
print job.

Check that Canon S450 is displayed in the Name entry box of the Print
dialog box.

If another driver is selected, click the down-arrow and select Canon
S450 from the pull-down list.

If Canon S450 does not appear in the list, you must install the printer driver.

If you use only the Canon S450 printer, select the Canon S450 as the
default printer. Click

Start

Settings

, and then

Printers

. Highlight the S450

icon and right-click. Click “Set as default”; make sure a checkmark appears
next to “Set as default”.

Select S450 from the Chooser of the Apple menu.
