You must set how much the image on the originals must be shifted so that the image is
copied onto the tabs.

IMPORTANT

•

The Tab Paper Insertion mode cannot be used with the Auto XY Zoom, Auto Zoom,
Zoom Program, Entire Image, Multi-Page Enlargement, Automatic Paper Selection,
Book 2-Sided, Finisher, Two-page Separation, Cover/Sheet Insertion, Image
Combination, Shift, Booklet, Transparency Interleaving, Margin, Frame Erase, Image
Repeat, or Area Designation mode.

•

The Tab Paper Creation mode cannot be used with the Auto XY Zoom, Auto Zoom, Zoom
Program, Entire Image, Multi-Page Enlargement, Automatic Paper Selection, 1 2-Sided,
2 2-Sided, Book 2-Sided, Finisher, Two-page Separation, Cover/Sheet Insertion, Image
Combination, Shift, Booklet, Transparency Interleaving, Margin, Frame Erase, Image
Repeat, or Area Designation mode.

•

If the Tab Paper mode is set, Auto Orientation is not performed.

•

Only LTR originals can be used with the Tab Paper mode.

NOTE

•

When making copies on the tab paper, check that the tab position is correctly set from
the top of the page.

•

When you select [Tab Paper Insertion], all the tab paper inserted will be copied. When
not making copies on the tab paper, set a blank sheet for the original of the page where
the tab paper is inserted.

•

Do not use the following types of originals. If the area to be shifted contains other
images, those images may be copied onto other parts of the tab paper and dirty it.
