Using the Operator Panel

Chapter 5

Selecting the Reduction Mode

We recommend that you use Reduction mode with MS-DOS applications
only (not Windows applications). Windows applications have a fit-to-page
feature that is not compatible with Reduction mode.

To select the reduction mode, follow these steps:

1.

Press the

MENU 

button once.

The printer beeps once when it enters Menu mode.

2.

Press the

MENU 

button again.

❏

The display shows the possible Reduction modes:

Press the

button to select the desired Reduction mode.

4.

When the desired Reduction mode is blinking, press the

ON LINE

button.

The 

ON LINE

light comes on.

❏

Printing in the selected Reduction mode is enabled.
