Body temperature of infants and small children is higher and decrease with the age. the children quickly and often
experience more severe temperature fluctuations, caused by leaps in growth.
Practical considerations when taking a temperature
1. To be sure that the measurement is precise and accurate, it is important every user to receive adequate information and
training for temperature measurement with such device.
2. It is important to remember that, through procedures as temperature measurement to seem easy, they should not be
underestimated.
3. The temperature must be measured in neutral context. The patient must not be done any energetic physical activity,
before his temperature to be measured and the room temperature must be moderate.
4. Be careful from physiological variations in temperature, which must be taken under attention in the measurement results:
temperature increase with 0,5 degrees between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Women have about 0,2 degrees higher temperature.
Their temperature varies according their period. In the second half of their period, the temperature increase with 0,5
degrees, as in early stage of pregnancy.
5. When sitting, the temperature is lower with about 0,3 to 0,4 degrees, than when we stand upright.
6. The temperature is affected from different factors, as individual exchange of substances; age; clothing; environment
temperature; previous body activity and to a lesser extent from mental activity; place, on which it is measured.
Restrictions
Please, keep the following restrictions before measuring the temperature, for ensuring real and reliable result:
-Remove any hair from the forehead.
-Wipe the forehead, if sweating appeared.
- Avoid air flows (for example. air conditioners and other)
-Leave from 3 to 5 second interval between 2 measurements.
-With every significant change in the room temperature, leave Easy Check to adapt to this temperature at least 15 minutes
before using.
How to measure temperature
Hold the thermometer against forehead, in the right area, on distance from 3 to 5 cm. Press
the button for temperature measurement and it will immediately appear on the display.
ATTENTION!
Reliability of measurement can not be guaranteed if the
temperature is measured on other part of the body (for example hand, torso…).
