6. LUBRICATION OF HUBS

hubs, lubrication is performed through the lubrication holes (A)
(front hub: Fig. 17 - rear hub: Fig. 18):
• Remove the band (B).
• Inject grease of excellent
quality into hole (A).
7. MAINTENANCE OF HUBS
• Lubricate the hubs every 2,000-3,000 km (1,200-1,800 miles).
• Remove, clean, check and grease the hubs every 10,000-20,000 km (6,000-12,000
miles).
• Periods and riding distances are purely indicative and may be significantly differ-
ent in relation to conditions of use and the intensity of your activity (for example:
racing, rain, etc.).

representative to select a schedule that is best for
you.
• Water and dirt are the most frequent causes of hub damage.
In the event of intensive use in these conditions, perform periodic maintenance
tasks at more frequent intervals.
NOTE
Never spray your bicycle with water under pressure.
Pressurized water, even from the nozzle of a small garden hose, can pass seals
and enter into your Campagnolo
®
components, damaging them beyond repair.
Wash your bicycle and Campagnolo
®
components by wiping them down with water
and neutral soap.
