11.3.2.1.

 

1000h Device type 

This object contains information about the device type and its functionality. It consists of two 16-bit 
fields:  the  first  one  describes  the  profile  used  and  the  second  one  contains  specific  additional 
information. 

11.3.2.2.

 

1001h Error register 

This object contains the internal device error mapping, is a mandatory object for all devices and is 
included in the emergency objects. The defined values are defined in the following table.

1002h Manufacturer status register 

This object contains the status of the device, it is specific to the manufacturer

1003h Pre-defined error field 

This object contains errors that have occurred on the device and that have been reported by the 
emergency message. Doing so, it provides a history. 

Sub-index 0 contains the number of errors that are currently saved from sub-index 1 to sub-index 
8. When there are no errors, it contains the value zero. Each new error is saved at index 1 and the 
old ones are moved to the major indices. 

Writing zero on sub-index 0 involves deleting the history, resetting all saved errors. 

Each error consists of a 16-bit field that contains the error code, defined by CANopen.
