Binning
The binning feature has the effects of increasing the scan speed and decreasing resolution by summing the
values of the adjacent pixels and integrating them. This feature is particularly useful when you need to acquire
line images with lower resolution. With the Binning feature, you can acquire lower resolution images without
having to change the optics or lighting conditions.
Horizontal Binning
If the Binning Horizontal parameter is set to
2, the sensitivity of the imaging sensor will be increased and the
resolution of the imaging sensor will be decreased.
Vertical Binning
If the Binning Vertical parameter is set to
2, the camera can achieve faster scan speed and the resolution of
the imaging sensor will be decreased.
