Gain and Black Level
Increasing the
Analog Gain
parameter increases the slope of the camera
’s response curve as shown in the
figure below. This results in a higher grey value output from the camera for a given amount of output from the
imaging sensor.

parameter will result in an offset to the pixel values output from the camera. The
