What the CDG Graphics Format Offers
This karaoke machine is equipped with a graphics decoding chip
that lets you play CDG graphic format CDs.
When the 2595AV-1 is connected to a television as described later,
CDG discs will display on-screen song lyrics with graphics that
change colors indicating when to sing.
The opening screen will typically display the song title and artist
who made the song version famous.
The second screen may indicate the key and time of the song and
the length of any musical introductions.
If a song has multiple singing parts, like a duet, those parts may be
color keyed, for instance blue for male, pink for female.
Some tapes provide count-off dots in the musical introduction and
at musical breaks to que the singer to get ready to sing.
Singing with CD/CDG, Tape or Other
Accompaniment
To sing with microphone and CD/CDG, cassette tape or other ac-
companiment,
1. Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR switch to CD + G , TAPE
or VCR/AUX to match your source of accompaniment.
2. Plug the microphone into MIC Jack 1 or 2
3. Press PLAY or PLAY/PAUSE on the Cassette or
Compact Disc Player to start background music and vocals.
Note:
To use the microphone without accompaniment. Set the
MULTIPLEX SWITCH to VOCAL.
TV Connection
When the unit is connected to a TV set of either NTSC or PAL
color system, the video image from a CDG (CD graphics disc)
can be shown on a TV set. Sound from the disc will play through
this unit’s speakers.
TV SETS WITH VIDEO/AUDIO INPUT JACKS:
Connect the VIDEO jack of the unit to the VIDEO input jack of the
TV set with the connection cord supplied. Connect the AUDIO
jack of the unit to the AUDIO input jack of the TV set with the
connection cord supplied.
TV SETS WITHOUT VIDEO/AUDIO INPUT JACKS:
Connect the RF MODULATOR SOCKET of the unit to the AERIAL
SOCKET of the TV set with a RF modulator and RF (coaxial) cord
supplied. Switch the unit to channel 3 or 4 and the TV set to the
same channel.

compacts graphiques (DCG)
Cet appareil de karaoké est équipé d’une puce de décodage
graphique qui vous permet de faire jouer des disques compacts
graphiques.
Lorsque le 2595AV-1 est connecté à un téléviseur conforme aux
indications apparaissant plus loin, les DCG afficheront à l’écran
les paroles des chansons avec des changements de couleur
pour indiquer quand chanter.
La première image affichée à l’écran présente généralement le
titre de la chanson et le nom de l’artiste qui l’a rendue célèbre.
La deuxième image indique normalement la clé et la durée de la
chanson, ainsi que la durée des introductions musicales.
Si une chanson se compose de plusieurs parties chantées (par
exemple, lorsqu’il s’agit d’un duo), ces parties ont une couleur
différente, comme le bleu pour l’homme et le rose pour la
femme.
Certains enregistrements affichent des points de compte à
rebours durant les introductions musicales et les intervalles
instrumentaux pour aider les chanteurs et chanteuses à se
préparer.
Chanter avec un DC/DCG, une cassette ou un autre
accompagnement
Pour chanter avec un micro et un accompagnement fourni par
un DC/DCG une cassette ou un autre moyen,
1. Placez le commutateur de FONCTIONS sur CD + G ,
CASSETTE ou MAGNÉTOSCOPE/AUX, conformément à votre
type d’accompagnement.
2. Branchez le micro dans la prise MIC1 ou MIC2.
3. Enfoncez la touche LECTURE ou LECTURE/PAUSE sur
le lecteur de cassette ou de disque compact, de façon à faire
démarrer la musique d’accompagnement et les voix.
Remarque :
Pour utiliser le micro sans accompagnement,
placez le commutateur de MULTIPLEXAGE sur VOIX.
